FINAL PROJECT
here are my first two iterations! it focuses on reminiscing on childhood, and the internal conflict of wanting to return to that state. I was originally planning to add in photos of myself from childhood, (which I may do for the next iteration) but I really enjoyed using the photos I had taken for this. I included fake roses to symbolize a false reality/idealization of past experiences, and the tchotchke filled pill bottles as the danger of regressing back to a child-like state that is unhealed.
Hi, Luci. I think you've done a great job of telling the story of a friend group. I can feel the insecurity, judgement, and frustration. Friend groups can be awful. I enjoy the colors and layering of images. I also enjoy the third one and how it seems glitchy; I could see it making a great poster. I'm excited to see your final version!
