FINAL PROJECT
here are my first two iterations! it focuses on reminiscing on childhood, and the internal conflict of wanting to return to that state. I was originally planning to add in photos of myself from childhood, (which I may do for the next iteration) but I really enjoyed using the photos I had taken for this. I included fake roses to symbolize a false reality/idealization of past experiences, and the tchotchke filled pill bottles as the danger of regressing back to a child-like state that is unhealed.
Literally love this idea and concept. It really flows together quite nicely and makes a very interesting image to look at. The only suggestion that I have is to make the transition between the fish and the lamp a little bit more unified so they look as if they come together as one. The light coming from the lamp could also be a gradient maybe to give off some depth. So excited to see where this goes next.
